New Custom Home Builders Begin Benefit Project for Lake Travis Youth Association in the Austin Community

Zbranek Custom Homes has always prided itself on commitment to our community. We want to share the success that we have enjoyed with the people in our neighborhood. As a new home builder in Austin, we have dedicated ourselves over the years to organizations that make a sincere contribution to our community. In this spirit, the Zbranek Team of Austin custom home builders has volunteered to build a benefit home this fall to fund the Lake Travis Youth Association (LTYA), which was defrauded out of close to $200,000.

Why Are We Doing This?

In August 2008, the LTYA was an unfortunate fraud victim of Count Me In (CMI) in August, 2008. CMI is a 3rd-party financial company. LTYA trusted them to collect online credit card payments. When CMI filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy liquidation in 2008, LTYA lost all hope of recovering their loss. 250 organizations were seeking to recover $5 million dollars from them, including the $195,000 that belongs to LTYA. Because of the fraud, the organization was forced to use their Rainy Day Funds to continue operations, one of which is providing sports programs for the youth.

Zbranek Custom Homes volunteered to build the LTYA Benefit Home so that LTYA can continue to provide better programs for the youth. This project aims to provide the organization with the means to make improvements for the benefit of the community.

For the 30-some years that we have been building homes, our company has continuously strived  to be a part of the community’s growth. We wanted our mark to be part of a great cause. Through the LTYA Benefit Home, the youth will be able to grow as valued members of the community as they get involved in the programs offered for them there. As Austin custom home builders, we are not only improving homes but also building relationships that serve as a bridge for the youth to have a safe and supervised recreational programs.

In an effort to mitigate this risk to their local community, Zbranek Custom Homes, known for building custom homes in Austin, will start construction this October on a custom home in the Bluffs at Rough Hollow. The intended goal is to donate $150,000 back to LTYA. We believe that this is one of the best ways of giving back to the community that has brought our business to where it is now.
